We had another exciting Burke weekend... Drew had a baseball game Saturday morning first thing. He did really well. Jack, Bo and I played on the adjoining playground - the highlight of the game each week for Jack. We took some old electronics to Whole Foods to recycle, went to Lowe's (trying to find the door for our room project upstairs), picked up some drapery lining (for my living room curtains) and dropped a tv off at the charity drop off. We were home by 11:30am. I LOVE the early morning games. We get so much more done on a Saturday. We worked in the yard all afternoon, dropped off some furniture for a friend and went to the birthday party Saturday night.
While working outside Saturday, John stepped on a rusty nail. So we added tetanus shot and doctor visit to our activity list for Sunday. We went after church and lunch at Uncle Kevin's. Thank you, Uncle Kevin, for a great lunch!!
Anyway - John is mending well... Drew is talking about bones this week at school and he got to see the X-Ray yesterday, so he has lots to tell tomorrow at school (they're out today).
A thank you to Amy and Grace for getting dinner with us Saturday night...
House project tally: we are still working on the room upstairs, we took our dog fence down this weekend and need to now relocate shrubbery, the kitchen still needs a coat of paint and we have lots of work around the yard... Is it possible to finish???
