Drew started first grade today AND is celebrating his 6th birthday. He wasn't thrilled about going to school on his birthday, but he was happy to have a treat for everyone at snack time. He woke up early - I mean really early - too excited to sleep. He opened the gifts we got him and Jack had a come-apart.
All is well...
Explanation - the one picture is the obligatory first day of school shot... The second is a picture of his new shoes - which he learned to tie this weekend!!!

What can I say Drew is such a handsome boy. I remember that first day of school feeling, everything was new...I still get it and I am a Senior in college. Hope he had a great birthday, I know he did!
