My favorite memories from your first six years...

- Getting to rest with you when you were a baby since we had no other babies and I could.
- I love that you get completely focused on themes (Thomas the Train for the first two years of your life, Batman ever since).
- I love pictures of your ringlet curls when you were smaller.
- I love how self-sufficient you are becoming.
- I love that you still appreciate cuddling on a Saturday morning.
- You appreciation of baseball and understanding of it still impresses me.
- How amazing you are being able swim and tie your shoes!
- I remember the phase you went through when all you wanted to hear was Jimmy Buffett's 'Volcano' over and over and over in the car...
- The first time you were afraid of the car wash and I (being very pregnant with Jack at the time) had to climb in the backseat to calm you down. There's no good way to just stop the car wash I discovered!
- When we had our Mardi Gras party at our house and folks had fed you kidney beans all evening. The next morning on our way to church, ALL THE BEANS CAME BACK.
- When you called the hurricane a 'hermicane'...
- The time our doctor sent you to the ER because she (and another doctor) thought you might have a growth in your head, only to find out all your symptoms stemmed from being constipated and then scratching your eye...

We couldn't love you any more... You are a wonderful friend, brother and most of all, son. Happy Birthday!!
