Carving out some Family Fun!

BOO!
Happy Halloween everyone! I hope everyone gets some treats today - no tricks. We managed to have a great family evening last night. I was quite under the weather with allergy yucks but I took the boys to the store after work and we got some spooky cupcakes and made 'eyeball meatballs' for dinner. They loved it. Then we went outside for the carving. Jack got his play Home Depot chainsaw and took it to the pumpkin - then we explained that wouldn't work.

Finally, we got the pumpkins carved and we are ready for Halloween tonight. I am still seriously planning the disco tent for trick or treaters tonight. Complete with a disco ball, great music and a hilarious wig.

If my children could type (or for that matter, write a sentence) - they would write:
Drew: "Trick or treat, smell my feet. Give me something good to eat. If you don't, I don't care - I'll pull down your underwear."
Jack: "Trick or treat, smell my feet - I'll pull down my underwear."
Bo: "uuuhhhhuuuhhhh"

Looks like fun! We didn't carve any pumpkins either, not a big surprise since we didn't decorate until Saturday! I hope you take pictures of your disco tent!

Cool.....I get it...A Michael Jackson pumpkin...awsome. I think Uncle Kevin would frown on such cosmetic alterations...can I get an AMEN or a YO GABBA GABBA!!

A Michael Jackson pumpkin? Are you mocking the pumpkin Uncle Steve?

Mocking??? Why heavens no. I love it. I just don't know that I've ever seen an Albino pumpkin before. Only ignorant people mock what they don't understand. I, on the other hand, think Michael would be pleased at the uncanny resemblance.
FYI...He's going to be on the cover of Ebony next month. Go figure. I thought there were stringent prerequisites for being featured in that publication. OK I'll hush now.
