Asheville

Good Monday to everyone! John and I took Drew and Jack (thanks gramma and grampa for watching Bo) to Asheville, NC this weekend. Our good friends (Mark and Courtney) had their baby baptized and we were honored to serve as her godparents.

We left Friday and got up there pretty late that evening. Saturday was spent playing with all the kids (they have a little girl Jack's age) and then we went to Biltmore. The boys pretended it was Hogwart's castle. They had a blast. With every turn, they'd imagine it was something like the Gryffindor common room or the great hall... The baptism was Sunday morning - everything was beautiful. We headed back in the afternoon. Despite a slow start today and some residual sleepiness, we are in pretty good shape!

The boys were so well-behaved the entire weekend. It was our first car trip that we enjoyed - no whining and crying. Very good.
